Daedunsan Mountain
Daedunsan Mountain (878m), covering Chungcheongnam-do and Jeollabuk-do province is literally a masterpiece. Daedunsan is situated in Jinsan-myeon of Geumsan-gun, Yangchon-myeon of Nonsan-si and Unju-myeon of Wanju-gun.

Introduction
Daedunsan Mountain offers a breathtaking mountain scape together with Macheondae summit, its multiple peaks, and its second highest peak, Nakjodae. It also offers diverse rock climbing courses for mountaineers and hikers.
Another thing of note is the mountain extends across three different cities and counties. The Daedunsan Cable Car and Macheondae are famous tourist attractions of Unju-myeon in Wanju-gun, while the Daedunsan Surak Valley is a major attraction in Yangchon-myeon of Nonsan-si. And a famous tourist spot in Jinsan-myeon of Geumsan-gun? It’s none other than the 1,000-year old Daedunsan Taegosa Temple, and Saengaedae Peak (735m), a place where you can appreciate Daedunsan Mountain’s rugged terrain of rocky cliffs and peaks, and Nakjodae, the second highest peak of the mountain.
The Daedunsan hiking course in Geumsan-gun starts at a square located along the Taegosa road. Typically, hikers park their cars next to the square, where there are restrooms, and begin their exciting journey. They pass through the Janggun Mineral Spring and reach Saengaedae Peak before heading to Nakjodae Peak. Then, they climb down the mountain to pass through Taegosa Temple and return to the starting point.
